Funding to support skill sharing, group learning and knowledge transfer events, such as conferences and workshops, peer to peer learning activities, and other community driven culturally relevant food system learning initiatives.

Eligible Applicants

  • Indigenous businesses and organizations
  • Indigenous communities
  • Indigenous government
  • Indigenous primary producers
  • Other Indigenous led groups undertaking agricultural initiatives

Eligible Activities

The following activities are eligible for funding:

  • Conferences/tradeshows attendance
  • In-person training
  • Internships
  • Mentorships
  • One-on-one training
  • On-site training
  • Peer to peer training/learning
  • Web based training (including webinars)

Project Timeline

Up to 12 months

Cost Share Funding

100% government funding to a maximum contribution of $10,000
